Services & Adjustments – Woofix

The Services section is the core of your offer in Woofix. This is where you configure what your clients can book. This tutorial explains how to create, edit, and properly configure your services so they appear correctly in the application.

1. 📋 Services List

When you open the Services tab, you land on the complete list of your current services.

From this page, you can:

  • Add a new service (Add button)
  • Edit an existing service (by clicking on it)
  • Delete an outdated service

2. ✏️ Creating & Editing a Service

When you click on a service or on “Add”, you are taken to the Edit Service page.
Here are the basic fields to fill out:

  • Name: The title of the service as it appears to clients and to you.
  • Duration (minutes): The base duration of the service.
  • Price: The base price.
  • Min Weight (lbs) & Max Weight (lbs): The accepted weight range for this service.
  • Description: Details of the service.
  • Extra (Yes/No): Check this if the service is an add-on/extra.
  • Public (Yes/No): If disabled, the service will not be visible to clients but will remain available internally.
Note : Services will only appear for breeds that have an adjustment.

3. ⚙️ Service Adjustments

Adjustments let you modify the price and duration depending on the breed, but they also define which breeds are allowed to access the service.

In the Adjustments section of the service, click to add a new adjustment.

3.1. Adjustment Settings

  • Title: Name of the adjustment
  • Additional Time (min): Time added to the base duration
  • Additional Price: Price added to the base price
  • Breeds: List of breeds the adjustment applies to

3.2. Selecting Breeds

This is where you define which breeds the adjustment applies to. You can search and select breeds to add to the list. Use the filters (Species, Size, and Coat Type) to help you refine your selection.

📚 4. Practical Cases & Examples

Standard or Custom Adjustment - Woofix

Case 1: Standard Adjustment (The $0 / 0min rule)

If you want your service to be available for certain breeds without changing the price or duration, you must still create an adjustment.

  1. Create an adjustment named “Standard”
  2. Set 0 min extra time
  3. Set $0 extra price
  4. Select all the breeds concerned
Note : If you skip this step, the service will not appear for these breeds during booking.

Case 2: Custom Adjustment

You can create a second adjustment for breeds requiring more work.

  1. Create an adjustment named “Custom”
  2. Add 30 min extra time
  3. Add $15 extra price
  4. Select all the breeds concerned

✔️ Summary

To make a service work properly in Woofix:

  1. Fill out the Basic Information (Name, Duration, Price, Weight, etc.).
  2. You must create at least one Adjustment.
  3. Assign the Breeds to this adjustment (even if the extra cost is $0 / 0min).
